A couple of months ago I ran into a group of ladies knitting, crocheting, and stuffing heart-shaped pillows at a local Starbucks here in Houston. They were members of The Common Thread Circle, a charity group that provides handmade items to patients in local hospitals. I decided I should join them and have enjoyed crocheting and knitting hats, scarves, and cowls as my donations. Needless to say, I am burning through my stash as an amazing rate (well, amazing to me, that is). And hubby is so pleased that I'm sending completed projects out rather than bring lots of new yarn in. So here are some of the pictures I've taken recently.
Originally, these three crocheted scarves were to
go to the Special Olympics but I never managed to get them in the mail. I know, bad kitty!
However, they have found new homes through The Common Thread Circle. All three were crocheted out of Red Heart Supersaver yarn.
